county map of Surrey, London depicted at the top, compasses and scale in lower left corner, strapwork cartouches in the other 3 corners, engraved map, 375 x 485mm., some wear and a few small losses on old folds, surface dirt and slight browning, inscribed Surry in contemporary ink on verso, later pencil inscriptions added, unevenly trimmed affecting outer border lines, with occasional small losses of engraved border, later issue, John Overton, late 17th century; with another map of Surrey from Camden's Britannia, by Kip after Norden, small losses at edges and on central fold, and facsimiles of Speed's map of Kent and Wildey's distance chart of the Grand Roads of England(4)
