The 3 panel screen has woven silk brocade inset panels with French swag and floral patterns, the center panel has a low relief carved and gilded section with winged sphinx, plus floral swags and a basket of roses, screen measures 69" H x 58" W (Open). Condition: The center panel with the low relief carving has a fracture just below the flower basket with 1/4" separation, the very crest of the center panel that has the flower basket shows a repaired fracture on the under edge of the flowers, the silk panels do show some deterioration with thread loss, no other major damage found.
