Sixth-plate tintype of a young soldier. The case measures 3" x 3" and is fully functional. Photographed in full view, the soldier sits with one hand gently resting on his lap. In his right hand, he clutches a musket. His buttons and belt buckle are hand-painted a metallic gold color. The tintype is in a decorative thermoplastic case with red velvet interior. The image is sharp and clear. A stunning tintype with no flaws. In excellent condition.
