AN EARLY 18TH CENTURY CONTINENTAL PARCEL GILT PAINTED CHILD'S SLEIGH, the reticulated crest rail of scrolling acanthus centering a stylized shell above a similarly carved frieze flanked by serpentine shaped sides carved with "C" scrolls and foliage continuing to panels depicting wintertime waterside villages enclosing a single seat partially covered interior, raised on a balustrade with carved slides. Height: 37 1/4", length: 42".
