Wonderful antique set of Haviland Limoges with a transfer of petite florals on the Ranson blank. The entire set is in near mint condition with virtually no signs of use, noting the occasional sign of a very faint utensil mark on the occasional plate. Truly a set that's seen little if any use. Included is a series of platters that measure, 11 1/2 by 71/2, 13.5 x 9 .25, 16 x 10.5 and a fabulous turkey platter that measures 20 x 14 inches, all have a very shiny surface when held at an angle in the light and only one shows a very soft scuff from potential utensil mark, no chips, cracks or repairs. Plus a 5 x 11 x 8 inch oval vegetable dish with ribbon handles and a bow finial, a round vegetable dish with ribbon handles and bow finial that measures 11 inches in diameter, two oval vegetable dishes that measures 10 inches in diameter, a gravy boat with attached under plate that measures 9 inches oval 12 9.5 inch dinner plates, of which only a couple show any sign of utensil marks and those are very faint, 12 8.5 inch diameter luncheon plates 12 7 1/2 inch salad plates 12 6.5 inch bread and butter plates, 12 find a half-inch berry bowls 12 5 inch diameter sauce dishes, 16 cup and saucer sets and six butter pats measuring 2 inches diameter. This is just one of nearly 400 lots to be sold from a beautiful Victorian home in the Missouri Ozarks. The entire collection will be sold at a live auction in our gallery just outside Kansas City Missouri on March 29. The catalog portion of this auction begins at 11:30 AM Central Time with the lot numbered 1000.
