TIFFANY FAVRILE GLASS AND BRONZE TURTLEBACK TILE DESK LAMP: Circa 1900-1920. Flattened ovoid shade cast with Zodiac motifs and set with two amber iridescence turtleback tiles, pivoting on U form support. Dished hexagonal base with Zodiac motifs as well, raised on 6 lug feet. Note interior heat shield crack one, flaw on other. Impressed Tiffany Studios / New York / 541. Purchased Sotheby's New York 1984. Measures 14 1/4" high x 10" wide.
