Rare Southeast Tennessee comb back Windsor rocking chair. Bought in Cleveland, TN (Bradley Co.) in the 1950's by Hal R. Swann, Jr. Bamboo style turnings. Old black painted script on the underside of the seat reads "Nomb 1817" (?sp). Condition - old refinish, otherwise very good condition. 44" height x 18" width x 24 1/2" depth of rockers. Early 19th century.
