Southern armchair with early turnings

Rare Southern armchair, consisting of turned finials, arched slats, turned arms extending over front stiles, unusual graduated ring turnings on back stiles, ring turnings on two front stretchers, turnip turned feet. Probably Tennessee or Kentucky. Appears to retain the original seat. Condition - some breakage to seat. 43 5/8" height x 20 1/4" width x 17 1/2" width. Circa 1830. Mallonee estate.
