Pair of Southwest Virginia small cabinets, Bland Co., walnut primary, poplar secondary. Consisting of a pair of small cabinets, perhaps Physician cabinets, with square nail construction, paneled doors, mortise and tendon construction of door. One cabinet with one shelf, the other with three shelves. Retains the original locks and key. Condition - old refinish, some minor loss to a corner of one backboard to one cabinet, otherwise very good condition. Dimensions 9 3/4" x 13" x 19 1/2" height (the other cabinet with same dimensions except 1/8" shorter in height). Circa 1840-50. Hearn estate.
