Wythe County, Virginia pie safe press

Wythe Co. Virginia walnut pie safe press with urn and flower tins in sides. Two drawers over two door safe with urn tins in sides. Earlier Wythe Co. press top with graduated cornice and chamfered corners. Punched side tins have tulip/floral designs in diamond decorated handled urns. Two dovetailed drawers over two double vertical paneled doors. Two shelves in cupboard interior. Wooden knobs and original locks with brass thread escutcheons. All corner stiles terminate in typical Wythe County turned feet. Condition - press not original to safe bottom, abrasions and some dents to safe case. Safe dimensions 52" x 48" height x 19" depth. Press top height - 40 1/2". 19th century. Hearn estate.
