Wythe Co. Virginia diminutive blanket chest with red wash and turned feet. Dovetailed case, interior till. Poplar primary wood with pine bottom. Retains original lock. Overall excellent condition for age. 21" height x 37" width x 16" depth. Circa 1835-45. Hearn estate.
