Folk art watercolor of floral wreaths with writing and additional folk art watercolor drawings, Mid Atlantic/New Jersey area. 1st item - matted and frame folk art watercolor wreaths of green leaves and pink flowers, both with script interior containing the 23rd Psalm, "Our Father who art in heaven…" The second wreath has a signature in the lower left corner, "S. E. Broson" (spelling?). Condition - very good condition (not examined out of frame), minor foxing visible. Frame - 11 1/4" x 12 1/2". Item 2 - unfamed watercolor of purple and pink flowers with calligraphy script at bottom reading, "The Week Stock." Very good condition. 6" x 7 1/2" paper. Item 3 - floral wreath watercolor with vibrant colored flowers of purple, pink, blue, and yellow. Very good condition. 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" paper. Item 4 - watercolor or pen drawing depicting two soldiers conversing surrounded by a circular vine bordered by an undulating vine. Very good condition. 6 1/8" x 7 1/2" paper. Item 4 - watercolor on paper of a man from India or the Far East carrying a wood bundle. Verso reads in old script, "A Cooly with a bundle of wood called by natives "Lakarhara". Very good condition. 7 1/2" x 9" paper. All items early 19th century, American.
