Southwestern Virginia stoneware jug with cobalt decorated flower and cobalt accents on handle terminus, attributed to Washington County, Virginia based on clay color and rim design. Found in Wythe County, VA. Condition - missing handle, terminus of handle remains. No visible cracks, very minor, shallow chips to base edge. 14 1/4" height. Mid 19th century. Hearn estate.
