Grouping of two (2) pottery forms from Wythe County, Virginia - Beamer family of Wytheville. Item 1- Lead glazed redware jar, bell shape with inner ridge ledge, originally had a lid. Hand print of potter can be seen on the bottom glaze. Condition - scattered rim and base chips. 7 3/8" height. 19th century. Second item - stoneware jug with green alkaline glaze, pulled handle joined at rim. Overall excellent condition. 10 5/8" height. Late 19th century. Hearn estate.
