North Carolina alkaline glazed jar, double handles, Buncombe County. Impressed "5" at shoulder, denoting gallon capacity. Thumbprint at base of each handle terminus. Condition - excellent, kiln kiss/ bung mark near one handle. 17" height. Late 19th century. Hearn estate.
