Edgefield South Carolina slip decorated jug

Edgefield, South Carolina alkaline glazed stoneware jug with brown slip flower design and a "3" denoting gallon capacity. Finely shaped handle and rim with a center ridge. Attributed to Chandler. Excellent condition. There are a couple of glaze flaws near the rim. No chips, cracks, or restoration. 16 1/2" height. Second quarter of the 19th century.
