Reverend C. W. Rightsell portrait of mother and child on board, signed lower left corner, "C. W. Rightsell". In crayon script on back, "Rev. C.W. Rightsell R#4, Ruggles Ferry Knoxville. Ph 525-6535". Biography - Considered an outsider artist, Rev. Rightsell painted people and landscapes from Knox County. He resided at Ruggles Ferry Road in Knox County. Condition - very good condition for age, thin layer of grime. 29 1/2" x 35 1/2", 31" x 37" frame. Early to Mid 20th century.
