Large mountain stream oil on canvas by Knoxville artist, Alexander Dumas. Titled "Water Music". The painting depicts the Little Pigeon River at Chimneys campground in the Smokey Mountain National Park. The painting is from a photograph taken by Jeannette, his wife, during one of their frequent trips to this area. Signed lower right "Alexander Dumas 2007". Excellent condition. 36" x 48" painting, framed. Note - all proceeds from this lot will be given to Maryville College as a gift in the honor of Alexander Duma's wife, Jeanette.
