Johnny Friedlaender (German, 1912-1992) composition color etching edition 7/95, signed "Friedlaender" in pencil lower corner and the edition "7/95" in the lower left corner. Etching and aquatint in colors. Art gallery label on back titles the work, " Vers Le Nord Et Vers Le Sud ". Note Johnny Friedlaender (December 26, 1912—June 18, 1992) was a leading twentieth century artist, whose works have been exhibited in Germany, France, Netherlands, Italy, Japan and the United States. His preferred medium of aquatint etching is a technically difficult artistic process, of which Friedlaender has been a pioneer. Excellent condition. Framed and matted under glass. 22 1/4" x 29 3/4" etching, 28 3/4" x 37 1/2" frame. Mallonee estate.
