Cold painted Austrian bronze bust of a Roman Centurion. Gilt painted helmet and uniform, ebony face, resting on an alabaster base. Early wooden core to bust. Condition - overall excellent, light and expected wear to gilt painting of helmet and uniform. 11 5/8" height. 19th century. Mallonee estate.
