Exceptional early blown glass tumblers (total 16) with gold painted designs of 19th century life, believed to be Soho and Vesta Glass Works. Including seven (7) tall tumblers and nine (9) smaller tumbler glasses, each hand painted with a different scene of early 19th century life. These scenes include a woman walking a dog, boys fishing, woman picking flowers, man smoking a pipe, a couple embraced beside a memorial urn, and various other scenes. Fine detail including facial expressions, folds and buttons on clothes. Condition - two shorter tumblers each have a rim chip, otherwise no other visible chips or cracks. Wear to gold on rim and one tall tumbler has some wear to side with design. Height of tall tumblers 5 1/4", shorter tumblers 3 7/8". 19th century, probably England. Total of 16 tumblers.
