American slant front desk, New England or Mid Atlantic states. Primary wood cherry with walnut sides and feet, secondary white and yellow pine. Four graduated drawers with eight drawer interior. Base molding with central carved drop, shaped bracket feet with returns. Top of case and sides of feet are dovetailed as well as interior and exterior drawers. Original brasses. Condition - overall very good condition for age. Old refinish, patches to hinges on slant front lid, narrow patch to base molding on left side, some replaced blocking. 43 1/4" height x 39 1/2" width x 18" depth. Late 18th/Early 19th century.
