Grouping of cobalt decorated stoneware, probably Mid Atlantic States. 1st item - Cobalt decorated low bowl with spout, cobalt decorated swags around the circumference of the jar. Found in Wythe County, Virginia. Condition - hairline crack to one side. 4" height, 9" diameter. Late 19th century. 2nd item - cobalt decorated jar with "2" in cobalt (denoting gallon capacity), cobalt swags flanking the "2" and a tapering swag below the "2". Albany slip interior. Excellent condition. 11 1/2" height. 19th century. Hearn estate.
