17 1/2" Tagged 1929-1930 Golfer 1002 of the "Sport Series". This doll is shown in the "Lenci Dolls" book by Dorothy S. Coleman, page 41 which states that the dolls were shown in January 1929 Playthings. Felt clothing is orignial but doll has replaced leather shoes and socks. Original large golf stick. Condition: Mohair wig has been messed up by hat. Face has wear (light moth damage) and fading on both cheeks, faint color touch up. Minor moth damage on clothing. Some discoloration on collar.
