Pair of 10" A. Thommann Swiss Linden Wood Dolls

Pair of 10" Swiss Linden wood dolls, male and female, possibly carved by Adolf Thommann. Female - has a very narrow face and carved bun at back of head. She is dressed in a purple felt jacket with braid trim, green skirt and long apron. There is a brass cross at her neck held by metal trim. Decorated wide brimmed straw hat. Male has painted brown hair. He is wearing a brown felt vest over white shirt, brown wool tweed pants. He is marked with a cloth tag: Made in Switzerland. Condition: female - minor fading. Male - fastener on front is rusted, (1) fastener on back is missing and there is a hole in the felt. Age discoloration on shirt/vest. Est shipping costs: $18
