Italian, 19th C. Madonna and Child.

Italian School Late 18th / Early 19th Century Madonna and Child. Oil on canvas, 38 1/2 x 29 inches (97.79 x 73.66 cm) Unsigned. In extremely good original condition, light craquelure throughout, pressure marks from stretcher boards 2 3/4 inches in from frame on all sides. Very minor spots of inpainting, two very small holes under Mary's chin. Both Halos have been inhanced. The painting is with a Magnificent 19th century carved and gessoed giltwood frame.
