The first pictorial representation of the monster in print.Early and rare Frankenstein playbill, providing a narrative for an 1826 staged theatrical production "as it is performed at the London Theatres." Preceded only by the first two editions; this item actually precedes the scarce third London edition by five years. Lists characters and the actors who played them, listing "the Monster" with six asterisks only.

Frontispiece and title page fore-edge margin trimmed (affecting first word letters on p. [5]), other margins apparently trimmed a bit; occasional small tan stains (including title and frontispiece); else good finely rebound.
