[Atlas]. Composite Atlas of mostly continental Europe with 59 double-page engraved maps and 3 engraved tables. 24 maps by Nicholas Visscher, 16 by De Wit, 5 by Johann Baptiste Homann, 16 by Pieter Schenk and/or Leonard Valk, 1 by Danckerts. c.1680-1720. Each map about 17 x 23 in. Cartouches usually highly decorative, few quite large, several left uncolored. Hand-coloring to all maps and two tables.

Condition report

Early quarter leather. Binding worn, front cover nearing detachment, interior condition varies, most maps in very good condition, many have been supplied with a modest extra margin to top and bottom (many now peeled away), lacking 16 (of 78) maps original No information or description of any kind with regard to property listed shall be construed as a warranty, either expressed or implied. The absence of a condition statement does not imply that the lot is in perfect condition or completely free from wear and tear, imperfections or the effects of aging.
