Several vignette illustrations within map, some accompanied by Latin historical notes: Czar Joannes Gasilins with a tent, men kneeling before the Virgin Mary and Jesus, 2 army units on the march, a pair of archers, figures kneeling in front of a monk in a tree, 2 cavalrymen, and numerous illustrations of camels.
Condition report
Latin text on one side of verso, beginning "HAEc Tabula non continet totam Russiam...," with the "H" as a woodcut initial. Text is headed "RVSSIA/ aut potius/ MAGNI DVCIS/ MOSCOVIAE IMPERIVM. Folio 99 in text's lower margin. Some light dampstain in margins at upper left and upper right.
