monochrome ink and watercolour, heightened with body white, 230 x 340mm., signed lower right, framed and glazed.***HMS Goliath, one of several ships to bear that name, was originally commissioned as HMS Clarence in 1826. She became a training ship in 1872, but was destroyed by fire in the Mersey in 1884. .
