Chinese plaque with mounted mother of pearl and ivory eagle. First half 20th century. Eagle having a carved ivory head and mother of pearl body. Eagle is perched on a branch near two birds and butterfly in flight, all in mother of pearl. Plaque having a decorative grey border in a floral motif. Decorative wood frame, not original to piece. Plaque: 10 5/8'' x 13 3/4'', frame: 16 1/2'' x 19 1/4''.
Condition report
Some small pieces from branch are missing. Decorative border on plaque is missing some of its design. There is a horizontal crack that almost spans the length of the plaque. No information or description of any kind with regard to property listed shall be construed as a warranty, either expressed or implied.
