1960s MERCURY FILL CAP

Green, 3½" cap (overall measurements are 5½"diameter & 2½" thick including pressure seal). Metallic green color with metal chain & seal, blue metal 'plug' as well. Sealed in plastic parts bag, with lots of engraved numbers all over cap. Also engraved: 'HANDTIGHTEN', 3½" CAP, etc. A very attractive piece consigned by a knowledgeable person who worked in the early space program. Like-new condition. Rare.
