Flown 1" long strand of wire removed from within the umbilical head. Piece is mounted on picture of Liberty Bell 7 launch & recovery. 2002 Signed Statement of Authenticity from Rick Boos, aerospace writer & historian who obtained the umbilical from Guenter Wendt, Launch Pad Leader. This is not one of the encased pieces recovered from the Atlantic Ocean floor by the Kansas Cosmosphere. Very fine.
