An amazing presentation of five different remnants from five of the most important aviation accomplishment of the 20th Century. Matted onto foamboard with cut-outs for small (approximately ½" square) pieces of famous aircraft, each with a labeled 3"x4½" black & white photo of vehicle from which they came. Includes: A piece of the 'Wright Flyer' (First Powered Flight) 1903; 'Vin-Fiz' (First Trans-Continental Flight) 1911; 'Curtiss NC-4' (First Trans-Oceanic Flight) 1919; 'Chicago' (First Flight Around the Earth) 1924; 'Apollo 11 Columbia' (First Flight to the Moon) 1969. Entire piece is 32"x11" and is ready for framing. has brass plaque at top reading: 'FIRST FLIGHTS'. This is a limited edition piece (8/12) produced by consignor Noah Bradley with his letter of authenticity. Very fine.
