Circa 1929; This set was packed away for over 30 Years in an attic wrapped in paper. While for the most part, the finish on this set is like new, there is some paper crazing on some pieces. 402E Loco, rewheeled, Red 'E' RS on doors, About as good as it gets, C8+! Ob w/insert missing flaps 1 side; 213 Stock Car, Mojave w/maroon roof & trim, Minor crazing on door guides & catwalk, ob is C7+, o/w C8; 215 Tank Car, nice patina, ob missing 1/2 of 1 small flap, C8; 211 Lumber Car, gold lettering strong, still has original paper sheet under load, ob C9; 212 Gray Gondola, Super patina, but appears that frame didn't start out with this top, tight & not offensive besides 1 tab scratch, but apparent, ob C7, Car o/w C7+; 214 Boxcar, Terra-Cotta w/D. Green Roof & trim, paper crazing on 3 sides, maybe 3 small chips on whole car, so, o/w C8?, ob is a brick; 217 Orange Caboose, missing 1 window glass, Nice shiny patina, but a few exposed rivits, and a 1/2" scratch above plate 1 side, missing couplers & coupler pockets, o/w C7, ob RS Red, C8, over all this a supurb example of this early set!
