Bronze and shell lamp by Gurschner

(Gustave Gurschner, Austrian, 1873-1971), bronze nymph with outstretched hands within a wave, bronze shaped to fit nautilus shell shade, marked on base "899" above "Gurschner," 21 in. Dark brown to black patina, minor areas of light corrosion on wave and hair, rubbing on shoulder, scrape to lower right side, electrified (cord needs replacing). Provenance: Casper Collection.
