Russian Balloonist Statue

c1930's, Heroic Statue (6x3") A bronze, heroic statue on a round wooden base, incised to look like bricks. The full-size original of this statue was erected in Russia to commemorate the death of early balloonists. Minor faults, but scarce and seldom available. A similar statue sold for $277 at our Spring 2003 auction.
