November 19, 1957 and April 21, 1961 Life Magazines The 11/19/57 magazine recounts the USSR's celebration over Sputnik II, and Wernher von Braun and the status of the US satellites. The 4/21/61 edition features "19 pages on space" covering the inside of Yuri Gargarin's capsule and the future of the US in space. Both are in very good condition with modest faults. Exciting reading as the space race heats up!
