1959//1961 Life Magazines Featuring Able & Baker The 6/15/59 issue features articles about Able and Baker, the first US space monkeys, including an article with dramatic photographs of the NASA medical team attempting unsuccessfully to revive Able during what should have been a routine surgery to retrieve the electrode that had monitored her heartbeat during her historic flight. ALSO included is the 2/10/61 edition featuring the story of Ham's return from Space. Very good condition. Minor toning and faults due to age which do not detract.
