Apollo A6LPrototype Spacesuit: "Integrated Thermal Micrometeoroid Garment (ITMG)" This 2-piece ITMG is an early Apollo prototype suit used in the development of what eventually became the A7L suit Apollo astronauts wore for lunar missions. According to the NASA documents included with this lot, this suit was excessed by the Johnson Space Center in October, 1972. The identification numbers on the trousers read: "Item spec CP 1003, Trousers Assy, TMG, A6L-205050-01, Model #1003A, Size Medium Regular, Serial 017, Date 3/67, Contact No. NAS 9-6100." The identification numbers on the jacket read: "Spec CP 1003 Jacket Assy, TMG A6L-204050-01, Model 1003A, Size Medium Regular, Serial 016, Date 2/67, Contract No. NAS 9-6100." The suit is in excellent condition. Exceedingly rare.
