Beta Cloth Prototype Spacesuit

White Beta Cloth Prototype Spacesuit This prototype spacesuit consists of a thickly padded Beta Cloth jacket with layers of other materials designed to prevent a micrometeoroid from penetrating and puncturing the inner pressure suit. The jacket has a covered zipper down the front (with secondary Velcro closure). The neck and cuffs are finished without any allowances for gloves. The pants consist of the same material. Velcro patches around the waist help in keeping the pants attached to the jacket. This suit was patterned after the A6L prototype space suit. No identifyication labels or marks on the suit. An interesting lot for any Apollo collection.
