"McKinney" Moon Rock "Bolt"

"McKinney" Moon Rock "Bolt" Lunar Sample Container (3x1") A metal "bolt", one end of which unscrews, to allow access to a hollow interior. This was used to store/transport Moon rocks, both internally at NASA and when shipping to researchers. There are both printed and engraved ID numbers on the bolt. Extremely rare. This is only the second or third Moon rock container we have ever encountered.
