Prototype Beta Cloth Space Boot This space boot consists of beta cloth and other materials designed to prevent a micrometeoroid from penetrating and puncturing the inner pressure suit. The boot has a covered zipper down the back (with secondary Velcro closure) and a thick rubber sole. There is a (1x1") square cut out of the sole. Interesting.
