1979 - 1985, Three NASA Memoranda on STS Payloads 1979, "Classification of NASA Space Transportation (STS) Payloads", 8pp, stapled. "This instruction establishes policies and responsibilities associated with classification of STS payloads for which NASA has design, development, test and evaluation (DDT&E) responsibility". 1984, "Classification and Control of JSC STS Payloads", 2pp, photocopy. A management directive to "implement NMI 8010.1 and to establish responsibilities for the classification and control of STS payloads for which JSC has DDT&E responsibility". 1985, "Change to JSCM 5312", 24pp, stapled. A series of revisions to established procedures on parts and reliability testing. All documents are in fair condition, and provide an insight into the development of Shuttle payload procedures.
