Loosely housed inside original gilt-lettered dark brown cloth folder with cloth tie strings, marbled paper interior, front titled: State Geological Survey, Map of the Bay of San Francisco, 1867.Scarce and important map from 1867 detailing the physical land features of the San Francisco Bay, with the various marshes, swamps, landings, creeks and other aspects in and surrounding the Bay.
