"A. Pettengill - 2" Marked Side Mount Trout Reel. Made by Albert Pettengill circa 1887, a New York reel maker from Ilion, produced reels of various configurations. This example has a circular pattern disk, 16 "cut outs" to allow lines to dry while still on the reel and constant click. In better condition than most, with full unaltered foot and hard rubber grasp. In VG+ with some brass showing through the nickel plating.
