Rare Large Size "Billinghurst's Patent - Rochester NY, Aug 9, 1859" Marked Birdcage Reel. With a 3 3/8" diameter, this excellent condition reel with folding handle and walnut grasp shows little signs of use, with tight spool rings and well fitting spool. Housed in a leather covered wooden box, a terrific example in a rare size.
