"J.S. Trowbridge & Co. - Boston" Marked Brass and Hard Rubber Trout Reel. With a 2 1/2" diameter, this handle plate reel has a brass foot marked "100", as well as a brass spool and handle plate. The dished hard rubber tail plate is free from cracks and has only minor surface scratches, with the hard rubber head plate rim showing a few hairline seams, surrounded by brass protective rims. A VG+ condition reel from the 1880's.
