yellow pine and walnut(?), cut nail construction, elaborate applied diamond, rosette and column form design, probably Southern, 19th century, 56-1/4 x 73-1/2 x 9-3/4 in. Scraped down with traces of cream to white paint overall, later nailing and some replaced moldings, scattered separations, other possible restoration, several nail/screw holes, repairs and wood fill at joints. Provenance: Found in Charleston, South Carolina; Private Collection, North Carolina
