City", oil on canvas, 29-7/8 x 24-7/8 in.; carved, painted and gilt wood frame. Five patches verso, lined with wax, on original stretcher, retouch in face and neck, in clothing and one point in background. Provenance: Levison & Cullen Gallery, Inc., Atlanta, Georgia (accompanied by copy of receipt); The Estate of the Late C. David Williams, Atlanta, Georgia Exhibited "Connecticut Academy of Fine Arts Twenty-Fifth Annual Exhibition - 1935" (remnant of label verso).
